Finding Ourselves in Our History: A Maryland Emancipation Workshop
Our stories did not begin with us, and they do not end with us. Join us at Hosanna School Museum on November 15th for an afternoon of finding ourselves in our history.

About the Event
In 1864, Maryland abolished slavery on November 1. 162 years later, we’re gathering to honor that moment. Spend an afternoon of reflection, discovery and conversation as we reclaim the stories that shaped us and explore how our families, our communities and our own lives connect to Maryland’s journey to freedom. Everyone is welcome.
